Carrie is a member of MACOG’s first AmeriCorps cohort serving with MACOG at the Tolson Center for Community Excellence.

What AmeriCorps activities have been most meaningful to you?

I've experienced a lot of fulfillment from serving with a team to build something new that will have an impact in the community now and in future generations.

How did you find out about AmeriCorps and what led you to this role?

I've known about AmeriCorps for a very long time and I actually served for awhile with Elkhart EnviroCorps many years ago, when the city had its own AmeriCorps program.

What’s next after your AmeriCorps service is completed?

Once I've completed my term with AmeriCorps, I hope to continue partnering with Tolson Center in some way.
