Shae is a member of MACOG’s first AmeriCorps cohort serving with the City of Goshen’s Department of Environmental Resilience. Shae is focusing on active transportation and hopes to shift the cultural outlook on transportation.

AmeriCorps Featured Member - Brandon
Brandon Bowman is an AmeriCorps member serving with the St. Joseph River Basin Commission (SJRBC) and a senior Biology major at Holy Cross College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Brandon is a member of the biological monitoring team, which collects and identifies aquatic insects to lean information on water quality throughout the twelve tributaries of the St. Joseph River.

Amber is new to MACOG but not new to the area. She grew up in South Bend, Indiana and got her Masters of Public Affairs from IU South Bend.
New MACOG Staff Member Pursuing Regional AmeriCorps Program
MACOG is excited to announce planning is underway to fund and launch a new regional AmeriCorps program. The program will be designed to build regional capacity to address environmental sustainability goals and implement economic resilience strategies through AmeriCorps members.
